SMALL PRINT
Processing terms,
in plain sentences.
What applywise does with personal data when it is handling it on someone else’s behalf, and the limits on that.
WHAT WE STORE
Five things, and where each one sits.
The same table on all three of these pages, because a reader arriving at any of them is asking the same question.
DATA PROCESSING
Eight terms.
01 · Roles
For a candidate's own workspace, applywise is the controller of the account and the processor of the career evidence inside it. Where an organisation provides ApplyWise to its people, that organisation is the controller and applywise is the processor acting on its documented instructions.
02 · Scope of processing
CV files and their extracted facts, role and application records, interview practice, and the outcomes attached to them. Processing lasts for the life of the account and the retention window that follows deletion.
03 · Sub-processors
The current list is published on the Security page, along with what each one holds and where. Customers are notified before a sub-processor is added.
04 · Location
Data is hosted in the EU. Support and engineering access is limited to what is needed to operate the service, and is logged.
05 · Security measures
Row-level isolation per account, encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege service credentials, and audited privileged operations. The detail sits on the Security page rather than being restated here.
06 · Candidate rights
Export and deletion are self-service in the product. Deletion stops scheduled work, revokes shared Proof Passports immediately, and completes on the published schedule.
07 · Sending
Employer delivery is disabled. ApplyWise may prepare drafts and user-activated autofill assistance, but the candidate reviews every field and submits on the employer's site. There is no setting that lets ApplyWise press submit.
08 · Contact
Data protection questions go to privacy@tryomie.com. A signed DPA is available on request for organisation customers.
